I downloaded jConnect and the Isql sample applet. I don't have package
listed in the imports below. Do I have to download Jato to get them?

import com.sybase.utils.Debug; // Sybase internal debugging class
import com.sybase.jdbc.*;

I already have Cafe (with JDK 1.1) Visual J++ (beta, using JDK 1.1) and
Visual Age for Java. Can one of these be used to build the sample applet?

Thanks in advance

I have found with Visual J++ that you have to tell it where additional
class libraries are. It does not look at enviroment variable "CLASSPATH"
nor does it really read the Registry entry for CLASSPATH.

To add these class locations goto Project then Settings then Modify
Class Path Directories to include the path to jConnect
