Dear Sybase people,

I have downloaded your trial version of jConnect. However, I've read in the
documentation included that there is no support for outer joins so far.

As far as I'm concerned, this is a VERY SERIOUS limitation, and it should
had been more widely documented, as well as fixed as soon as possible.
Without outer joins jConnect is practically useless for me, I can't even
evaluate it.

Being so, I'd like to know if this is really true, and, if it is, when can
I obtain an evaluation copy of jConnect with this problem already solved.

Best regards,

Edmar Wiggers

Edmar,

The current version of jConnect does not support the outer join
Escape syntax. This does not mean that you cannot use outer
joins via T-SQL commands passed to execute or executeQuery.

We are hoping to provide the rest of the missing functionality
by our next maintenance release.
