I have been attempting to run httpd.bat to load the HTTPD server as
instructed in the installation directions for jConnect 2.x. I receive the
following message:

Can't find class uk/org/cascade/sybase/http/HTTPServer

I checked the java_home, jdbc_home, and classpath environment variables.
They appear to contain the correct information. The only thing that stands
out is that the last two lines of www.dos file which is used by httpd.bat:

Log uk.org.cascade.sybase.http.AccessLog 'D:/Program
Files/Sybase/jConnect/access' /*
Log uk.org.cascade.sybase.http.RefererLog 'D:/Program
Files/Sybase/jConnect/referers' /*

My jConnect directory does not contain directories or files named access
and referers.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Tom

Thomas

If its complaining it sant find the uk.* package, the .bat isnt
working. I had the same problem. Eventially the only way I could get
it to work was the remove the environment references in the .bat, and
hard code them in. Seems my WIN95 machine was running out of
envionrment space. You'll notice if this is true when you see the
output of the batch, and the environment variables dont get subbed in.
Try just coding the paths in by hand.
