I run the DBCC commands on a nightly basis and every once in a while I may
get an error and the error vary, but when I run the dbcc commands again to
verify what I have already received sometimes the error goes away. Does
this indicate that the errors are valid or invalid?

Thanks

If you run dbcc checkalloc() on a database that is NOT in single user
mode, the DBCC may return spurious errors. Be sure the DB is in single
user mode. The DBCC output should mention that it wasnt in single user
mode when run.
