we have 11.3 and im trying to get info on the historical server. Where is
it at. sybase techsupport said it came with the server, said it was
installed in the bin directory, but its not there. Cant find it on the cd,
And there isnt any install option.. can someone point me in the right
direction.

This is part of 11's SQL Monitor Bundle product set. If on NT, it is an
optional installation item on the CD, but not necessarilly installed
with the server. Try running SETUP.EXE from the CD and see if the
HS is on there - choose it only when installing. It wil create the
proper files down in the %SYBASE%\BIN directory where appropriate.
You can then setup HS through the Server Configuration tool, I believe.
Of course, it will need an entry in SQL.INI (network address/port#).
