Hello,

What is best way to force a view to go through resolution again without
dropping and recreating the view. If there is not alternative, can Sybase
please add a new command:

ALTER <OBJECT ; VIEW | PROCEDURE | TRIGGER | TABLE> RERESOLVE

Thanks,
Ryan

This kingd of thing would be useful indeed. Even better: something
that gets every compiled object on a table re-resolved, similar to
sp_recompile -- i.e. sp_resolve <table_name>. Maybe allow this for
both a table as well as individual compiled objects.

Yes, very useful.. Most of the times, After Executing ALTER in ASA... We
tend to use same in ASE.... ..

We have Centralized DB ASE 12.5 and All Remote ASA 8.0 DB's..
