Recently, I installed trial version ASE 12.0 software, of course including
Sybase Central, on a NT 4.0 box. I configured ASE 12.0 server, Sybase
Central, etc.

In Sybase Central left panel, under "Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise" , I
right clicked a server name, then after a window popped up, I clicked "YES"
to the question: "Are you sure want to remove the selected servers from
Sybase Central so that next time the entries won't be displayed?", but the
server name I wanted to remove would still be displayed after I closed and
restarted the Sybase Central.

Even after I removed the server entry from the sql.ini file and after I
restarted the NT machine, the server name I wanted to remove would still be
displayed.

Would anyone please tell me how to remove a sever name from Sybase
Central's left panel?

Usually right clicking on the server name and selecting Delete will take care of it. It
may still be in the SQL.INI file and should also be removed from there. If there is also
an NT service that would start the server then the service would also have to be removed.
