If you do not want to do it all manually, the only product that
I can think of that you may be able to use is "DBArtisan".
Check it out!

My boss told me to do that.
There are more then 100 tables, and is a lot of work to use some
products(Datapump, Power Designer) which need many corrections.
So, I hope to find an product which will make this process esyer.

Please help me if you can.
Thank you.

I suppose the first option is to:
a) redefine in your Oracle system all objects in Sybase system (assuming
there will be no conflicts or incompatibilities); use defncopy;
b) execute a bcp out for all your tables in character format and try to
load them into Oracle using sql*loader with a proper format file;
c) review your stored procedures and scripts to be sure they conform with
pl*sql standards.

I suppose there is another way, by using a third-party program that 'grabs'
all your structure and data and sends to the Oracle system. Any case, I
think the problem at point c) above must be the most difficult to solve.

Because of the huge quantity of work involved, and the great number of
tests and check, i think that moving from a RDBMS to another is a very
tough decision, especially when there moving to Oracle.

Sincerely, yours
Stefan
