Hi,

I am on Sql Anywhere Version 8.0.2 with 4121 EBF. When I start a database,
or try to create a brand new one from Sybase Central, I get this problem.

"Database cannot be started -- No such file or directory"

Either dbeng8, or dbsrv8.. Both give me problems.

Thanks,

Make sure that the database file is on the same machine as the database
engine (i.e., no network shares, no unc mappings).

Can you provide more information (be specific) as to how you are setting up
the connections?
