My code is simple:

stored proc:
select* from table1
select* from table2

###############################################
vb Code:
set rs = new adodb.recordset
do while not rs.eof
lst.additem rs("fieldname")
loop

set rs = rs.nextrecordset
do while not rs.eof
lst.additem rs("fieldname")
loop

###############################################
error:
Current Provider does not support returning multiple recordsets in in a
single execution

###############################################
I get the Same Result with ASAPROV 7 an ASAPROV 8

My Connections work fine for everything else:

Dim ConnString As String
ConnString = "Provider=ASAProv.80;" & _
"UID=" & dbLogin & ";" & _
"PWD=" & dbpass & ";" & _
"DatabaseName=" & dbCatalog & ";" & _
"EngineName=archServ;" & _
"AutoStop=Yes;" & _
"Integrated=No; " & _
"Debug=No;" & _
"DisableMultiRowFetch=No;" & _
"CommLinks=TCPIP{host=" & ServerIP & ";Port=14305}"

Set Conn = New ADODB.Connection
Conn.ConnectionTimeout = 25

On Error GoTo ErrASE
Conn.Open ConnString

This should work (I just tried it using 8.0.1.3096 and 8.0.2.4121), as long
as you are using server side cursors.

What exact version and build #?

You may want to follow up this thread on the newgroup
sybase.public.sqlanywhere.general which is more highly focused on ASA.
