What is the sql statement used to move a database to a new device? I don't
want to extend the database to a new device. I want to move the whole
database to a new device. Any suggestions? Thanks.

dump database to <dumpdevice>
drop database
create database on <new device>
load database from <dumpdevice>

alternatively, if the database is on a dedicated device, mirror that device to
the new device,
then break the mirror, dropping the primary side.
