It would help to know the version of PB and which DBMS.
Wild guess - you may have used a reserved word as the name of the retrieval
argument.
Does this happen when you add the retrieval argument itself or when you try
to use it in the Where clause?

What version of PB?
Does the SQL work before you try to add the retrieval argument?

That IS weird. I have 11.1 - let me know the build number (lower right of
the IDE when no painters are open and I'll see if I can recreate it. That
may or may not be relevant without SQL Server.

Does the missing RA happen on every DW or just one?

I have this problem too. Only happens to us on an HP TouchSmart with Vista
64bit. Initially we disabled the TouchSmart Driver and the RA problem
disappeared. Then a user made changes to a registry key and the problem came
back. So we restored the pc image to make it work again but when a windows
update came out it broke it again.

We have been trying everything to get this to work and thus far nothing seems to
fix this.

Hello, i'm using powerbuilder 10.2.1 Build 9948, and the problem is
the same.
I also tested with PB 11.5 Build 3050. Same problem.
I probe it with Oracle 10g and SNC for SQL Server 2005.
I have a PC with Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2.
