Hello,

Is it possible to fetch more than 1 row with a single call to
resultset.next()?
With ctlib I was able to do something called "array-binding" which would
allow me to fetch N rows with one ct_fetch where N was defined as part
of the
result binding process. I am unable to find a class or function (s)which
will help me control that - I am just issuing a SELECT statetment and
getting row results - no cursor involved. This is particularly useful
when there are thousands of rows in a result set both from performance
and result display standpoint.

Thank You,
Sumitra.

Sorry, there is nothing like this in the JDBC spec, and we have
not added anything like it as an extension. I doubt that even
if we did there would not be much of a difference in performance.
It is just a matter of who does the 'i++' operation in moving
data out to the array elements. The data does not come back
to the client from the Server in this column-major form. Anyway,
wouldn't your rather declare a local class (just to treat it like
a C struct), and then populate an array of these classes' members
rather than having a bunch of arrays to correspond to the columns?
