Hello:

I am new to jConnect and jDBC and would like to try jConnect on a
Macintosh. The jConnect FAQ says some people had already got it to work
on Mac, but unfortunately it provides no information on where to get
jConnect for Macintosh. And the web site only has Windows and Unix
versions. Could someone please tell me where jConnect for Mac is
available for download?

Thanks
Johnny

jConnect is the same for mac - only difference between the Unix
and Windows versions of things are the extract utilities. Get
the jConnect.class file (self-extracting java archive) and extract it.

Warning: The jConnect.class archive prompts you to enter a pathname
to where the product should be installed, and I have not seen a
friendly way to run a command-line based java application on any
of the Mac Java implementations. You may need to run the extraction
on some other machine, and then use zip/ftp or some other such utility
to move the stuff over your mac.
