Hello,

I have downloaded JConnect and I am trying to run the isql applet.
Unfortunatly I get this error with Netscape 3.1:

Unexpected Exception: netscape.applet.AppletSecurityException:
security.socket.connect: ->puppy

(puppy is the sql Server in my domain)

Thanks, Matthias.

If your sqlServer is not on the same machine as the web server
you are downloading your applet from, then you have to use the
HTTP/JDBC Gateway and the "proxy" connection property to reach
your server.

I am also having the same type of problem. Everything runs fine on my PC
but on anyother PC I get the same exception error.

I did find one way around it was to install jdk 1.1.1 on the other PC.
Then it worked fine.
