I am issuing the command setAutoCommit(false) and executing a stored
procedure. I receive a SQLException "stored procedure ... may be run
only in unchained transaction mode. The SET CHAINED OFF command will
cause the current session to use unchained transaction mode'.

What's the proper way to disable auto commits? I'm running Sybase and
@@VERSIOn returns "SQL Server/10.0.2/P/Sun_svr4/OS 5.2/EBF 5216/OPT/Wed
Jul 5 12:14:16 PDT 1995". I'm using jConnect 2.0 release version.

If posting a reply, please reply by e-mail as well.
