Hello group!

The getColumnDisplaySize() method of the ResultSetMetaData class having
not been implemented for the current release of JConnect is there an
another way to find the size or length of the columns in my ResultSet?

Thanks in advance.

You can execute a query similar to:

select name, length from syscolumns where id = object_id('publishers')

This will return output in the form of:

name length
------------------------------ ------
pub_id 4
pub_name 40
city 20
state 2
