Hi,
does anybody know the meaning of the following SQLException exception:

java.sql.SQLException: Result set is DEAD.: Result set is DEAD.
at com.sybase.jdbc.ErrorMessage.raiseError(ErrorMessage.java)
at com.sybase.jdbc.ErrorMessage.raiseError(ErrorMessage.java)
at
com.sybase.jdbc.SybResultSet.checkResultSet(SybResultSet.java)
at com.sybase.jdbc.SybResultSet.getColumn(SybResultSet.java)
at com.sybase.jdbc.SybResultSet.getInt(SybResultSet.java)

This exception only occurs using the jConnect driver. Using the
jdbc-odbc bridge it works fine.

Thanks,

Michael Minder

Michael,

Please try the latest version of the driver 7-16-97. if the
problem still persists, please provide us with a means to
repro the problem. If you can make the problem occur against
pubs2 that would be ideal.
