I am getting a metadata unavailable error when calling
java.sql.Connection.setReadOnly(bool) on an open Connection.

The exact exception is:
Metadata accessor information was not found on this database: SQL state:
JZ0SJ

I am 99% sure that the stored procedures are correctly installed
on the server. Any suggestions as to what I am doing
wrong or is this operation not supported?

Mike.

Mike,

There are two bugs on this one for using the $JDBC_HOME/classes
and another using $JDBC_HOME/devclasses.

If you have a support contract and are in need of an urgent
fix, please open a call with tech support.

thanks

There is no good way for jConnect to implement 'setReadOnly' for
SQL Server. That just is not something that SQL Server supports.
There is an 'sp_dboption' that you can use to make an entire database
readonly - but it affects all users of the database, which clearly
isn't what the setReadOnly() method intends.

Sorry
