Hi,

I downloaded the trial version jConnect and tried to install it on unix.
I followed the instructions and changed the www.dos, httpd.sh and
httpd.bat files to set proper directories and environment variables.

I was able to run the server: thunder% httpd.sh

When I tried to access the server through netscape browser:
thunder.ocis.temple.edu:8000, I got the message from the browser saying
"Document contains no data".

I got following message on the unix prompt:
"Unaligned access pid=6787 <java> va=0x4003f204 pc=0x3ff800e6898
ra=0x3ff80139d68
httpd.sh: 6787 Abort"

I am using JDK1.0.2 for applet

On Unix, you will modify www.template not www.dos

there is no need to modify httpd.sh. The script expect
$JAVA_HOME and $JDBC_HOME to be set prior to executing the
script..
