We finally purchased our copy of jConnect, only to find that it
contains all the bugs which have been fixed long ago in the
beta versions.

When I call getDriverName (or something similar, off the metadata),
I'm getting the compilation date of the driver. The production driver
we got delivered on a CD-ROM was compiled on 13th of March.
Meanwhile, the version available on the web-site was compiled
on 19th of June (but of course expires on 18th of August).

Is there any way to get patches/EBFs for the version we purchased?

The bugs concerned really affect our project: inability to call
parameter-less stored procs, inability to get the results of multiple
Print statements as warnings, inability to call a dynamic stored
proc as "exec procname", etc. All of these are fixed by now, but not
in the version we purchased.

Hi Andrew,

If you have registered for ESD off of www.sybase.com, then you
can download the latest jConnect EBF which matches the web download.

No extra cost for ESD, you simply have to have a support contract
for jConnect.
