We are currently trying to use the ResultSetMetaData.getTableName() API
and we have the following exception :

It seems that getTableName is not currently implemented. Do you know
when this function will be available ?

It is unlikely that we will ever implement that method. Sybase
databases simple do not report tableName, schemaName, catalogName
information along with the data that comes back from a select query.

In order for jConnect to get that information, we would have to put
a SQL-parser into the driver so that we could attempt to construct
this information from system tables -- this would be a real performance
problem, and would only work for simple queries. If you want to
know what table a column comes from in a result-set returned by
executing a stored procedure then we'd be out of luck.
