Hi:

I am using Borland's JBuilder to build Java forms and would like to
connect these forms to SQL Anywhere via JConnect - is JConnect usable
from JBuilder?

Thanks

Dave Stoner

I have not built large applications, but the jConnect 3.0 beta, that I
downloaded recently from the web, seemed to work pretty well with JBuilder.

I have not tried it personally, but I don't see why this
should be a problem unless JBuilder cannot handle obfuscated
classes.

The new 2.2 release of jConnect as well as the next push of the 3.0 beta
software will not longer use obfuscated classes due to too many IDEs not
correctly handling them.

We hope to push out a jConnect 2.2 trial version shortly to
www.sybase.com

What is an obfuscated class?
