I am attempting to use a version of jConnect that was installed with
Jaguar CTS. There is a readme file that explains how to test the setup
using httpd.bat and Validate.class. I am getting a 'JZ006' exception
when I run Validate.class (output is below).

Has anyone seen this before????
Any help is appreciated.
David

This is your problem right here -- I suspect that you are using
JDK1.0.2 to run your httpd? If the machine which you are running
your gateway on does not know that host by NAME, then a bug in
JDK1.0.2 causes this UnknownHostException problem.

You can either upgrade to JDK1.1+, or add a DNS name to your maps.

I recommend the upgrade!

David,
You suspected right. I was using jdk1.0.2 for the proxy. It works
with jdk1.1. Thanks for the info.

David-

Looks like the driver loaded fine, but fails on connection to the
proxy. Are you sure the proxy is running?

Yep, its running. Listening to port 8000.
I ran it using '-Dverbose=1', but got no additional info at the time
of the error.

I'm running NT 4.0. Any required service packs??
