Is it possible to use the JDK 1.1 server with the JDK 1.02 client
code?

Michel

I just tried to run a 1.1 server with the 1.02 client code and it
seems to work fine. The problem with lingering processes on the
SQL server also went away. It would seem that the 1.02 server has
a bug of some sort.

I still would like to know if the 1.1 <-> 1.02 combination has
potential problems.

Thanks, Michel.

Probably the best place to get an answer would be one of the
java newsgroups or from javasoft itself.
