Hi:

I am having trouble with NetImpact dynamo set up. I follow the
instructions in the niDynamo user's guide on how to create the sample
Web site.

If you open the main content folder (in this case Site), you are
supposed to see folders named System, doc, and app. But my site folder
only has the app sub dir under it. I cannot follow the subsequent
sections on how to create a template or configure my own databases.

Any insights into this problem?

Thanks,
-Prabhakar.

I had the same problem.
If you check in the website database you will see that all the web pages are
there, but in SYBASE/SQL Central only the first occurence of showed.

It is your ODBC settings. You need to set it in the CURSOR mode
else it will only return the first row of the set.

I think there's something wrong with your Dynamo installation. The
'system' folder should be installed with 'util' subfolder whenever you
create a dynamo site. The 'doc' and 'app' folders are optional folders,
and you are asked to whether create these folders or not (I think this
is done in the 2nd step of your site creation). I fyou didnot check the
Dynamo Documentation option, dynamo didn't add the 'doc' folder.
In fact when you create a new site, these folders are imported from your
'\sybtools' dir. Please check your installation and check your sybtools
dir.

Hi:

Thanks for the response. The installation was normal, but it seemed to
stop short of adding all the files to the demo "Site". I think the
system was having trouble with memory buffer or something. I had to go
and import each of the subdirectories and files after the profile was
created. What a pain. Nevertheless it worked! .
