I have received a ejb-jar file to deploy on our Jaguar server.
I successfully imported the package and am now attempting to
use create proxies of server components on a PB 7.0.2 nvo
client. I consistently receive the error:

***Error recorded in srv.log:

Feb 24 10:36:16 2000: Exception 'CosNaming::NamingContext::NotFound' in
Session::lookup for component 'quant/Data_valueHome'
Feb 24 10:36:16 2000: SystemException: OBJECT_NOT_EXIST (Session/lookup
- @192.168.1.30)

***Error end

1.) What are the most likely causes of this error?

--The Package & component appear in the Jaguar manager and the directory
"quant" (the package name) has been created under the html\classes
directory containing my necessary class files.

2.) What are some tests I can perform to verify the validity of the
package and its components?

3.) Is the most likely problem on the client or server side.

Thanks for your help.

EJB's are referenced by bean name only, not package/bean. You also cannot
use the connection object, you need to use the ORB code from PB7.
