Hi All
I am not sure if this message got out to the group, i have been having
some hassles with my newsgroups.

I am experiencing some very weird problems with the HTML dw. If I add
two rows of data and change values and submit and then it fails, and
then change the data again, the context information sent is for the old
data and not the changed data, heres how I reproduce;

Example:
Add
XXXX YYYY 99
UUUU TTTT 1

and then save

and then change to
XXXX YYYY 1
UUUU TTTT 99

and the data is sent as original, not the changed numerical values.

If i do the above but only on one row it sends it okay.

Rgds
Adam

What version of PBVM are you using. This sounds like a bug from a very early
release, my have been beta?

If you are using EAS3.0 get the update.

I am using eas 3.5 with build 3017 of powerbuilder, i think this is the most up
to date.
A previous response was that the primary keys may be the problem.
When my users add data I do not have the primary keys set as they are input by
the server component, and if incorrect I do not return the primary key data, the
data is sent back as was entered.

Could this be the issue

I've had similar problems with the submit process of the Web DataWindow if
the rows in your DataWindow are not unique. Take a look at the update
properties of your DataWindow and make sure you have correctly identified
your unique key columns.
