Hi,

I managed use Jaguar 3.5 running with jdk1.2 on NT 4.0 SP4, by including
my path to my servlet to the BOOTCLASSPATH instead of CLASSPATH.

But now I can go thru a few pages, and then the server dies (the process
is killed), with no information in the log file.
Each page does an access to a database (MS SQL Server 7.0, using
jdbc:odbc driver), but no update is done, just some select (very simple
ones).

Could it be something to do with the connection (though the statement is
closed after each query).

I would also move from jdbc:odbc driver to a pure JDBC class 4 driver
for MS SQL Server.
Is it provided in jconn2.jar or sybjdbc.zip ??

Cheers,

Olivier

I would try the pure Java driver first. However jConnect doesnt support
MSSQL. You need to download a demo driver from Merant.
