To add functionality to the htmldw, do I create a new .pbl, copy the
three objects from pbdwrmt.pbl, add my stuff and re-deploy the
nv_remote_datawindow object to a new package?

Is there any documentation out yet?

Thanks.

Matt Fischer

Yep. I suggest using the code in the pbdwrmt.pbl to see how Sybase did it
and use it as a starting point. Remember that when you redeploy all the
method names will be lower case unless you manually edit the IDL. Also, you
will have to generate and compile the Java stubs before being able to access
the component. As Roy said, my last article walked thru creating a web dw
component and deploying it.

SDN has a article by Larry Cermak[TeamSybase] that gives more details on the
subject.

Matt,

you have the basic process down, and the PB help does describe a lot of the
details. Is there something in particular you are looking for that is not
explained there?
