Hi Folks,
The following script works fine from another machine in my office
but for some reason it won't work on my machine :-(. Anybody have any
suggestions.
<HTML>
<H1>A CreateComponent example</H1>
<!--SCRIPT

var comp = java.CreateComponent( "CHEO/CHEOPLEDGE",
"iiop://dillon-pc:9000", "jagadmin", "","com.sybase.CHEO.CHEOPLEDGE" );
if (comp == null)
{
document.writeln("Trouble getting component reference");
document.writeln(site.GetErrorInfo());
}
else
{
document.writeln("Invoking component now");
var financeAmount = comp.getFinanceAmount("1234");
document.writeln(site.GetErrorInfo());
}
-->
</HTML>

The error is "Not allowed to create
comp.getFinanceAmount[getFinanceAmount] near line 14"

Thanks.

Please add the line

document.writeln(site.GetErrorInfo());

After you create the stub. My guess is its not being created.
