Hello, Everyone,
I am new to Jaguar CTS 3.0. Installed Jaguar CTS 3.0 on NT 4.0 SP5.
After the first or second start/shut-down of the preconfigured Jaguar
server, there is always a Dr. Watson error on trying to start it again.
The error message is: Exception: access violation(0xc0000005), Address:
0x1001bc4b. Every time the error is exactly the same. Did notice that in
the srv.log file, there are two errors:
Mar 25 23:19:01 2000: SRVLIB Message: 16240/10/0: Net-Library routine
net_listen(WH43768 9000) failed in srv__start_listeners
Network error: status = 23 - Net-Lib protocol driver call to register a
listener failed. However when I installed Jaguar CTS 3.0, I did not see
any network setup requirements. I have been having this error the whole
week. Can anyone help please! Thanks a lot.

It looks like Jaguar might also be running as a service already.

Ben,

Something has already got the listener that Jaguar is trying to access.
Also, can you verify that you path and class path are pointing at the
correct version of 3.5 and not 3.0

Can you post your log file?

Are you sure that it is not running? Check the task manager for
jagsrv.exe to make sure.
