Hello,

I have a problem when using Jaguar CTS (EAServer) 3.5 on Windows 2000.
The ODBC-Connection can not be established after complete install, but
the jdbc:odbc can be established.
The Log Files are always empty it seems that Jaguar can not write to
the Log file.

Even more I am using PowerBuilder 7.0.2 for server components and after
compiling / validation or deployment to Jaguar I got the error message
(or warning
dependant of the settings).
that errorlogging and transactionserver are not valid variables. With
these errors
I think it is not recommended to use Windows 2000 as a server.
With Windows NT 4 none of these problems arises.

Does anybody knows whats the problem, Is Jaguar (EAServer) not ready for
Windows 2000 ?
(The Application Compatibility Tool of Windows 2000 does not help.)

Because we are planning a project where Windows 2000 might be the server
machine
this problem is urgent for us.

Best regards and thanks in advance.

Georg

We have not yet certified EAS on windows 2000. There is a plan for
this, but I do not have an actual date for completion. There are a lot
of pieces to EAS that we need to make sure play nice on windows 2000.

Regards,
Lance
