Hi,

I've installed jaguar on a new installed NT machine. Unfortunally when
trying to start the jaguar manager I get this error message in the Dos
window:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:
com/sybase/jaguar/management/scp/JaguarProvider/ClusterContainerVSO

I've checked the classpath and path variables with my working
installations and the are identical.

Any Ideas?

TIA,
Darko

Hi,

I've checked all paths and variables and they're all OK.

This seems to be the problem, I found it in this newsgroup after a while:

Hi all,
One of our customer had a problem. He installed oracle 8.05 and our Eas
3.5 on the same machine. The jaguar cts works fine but when he use jaguar
manager,he can't see any contents in the right panel.
Finally,he figured out that an orale 8.05 dll named operf80.dll makes
the trouble. If he rename this dll, jaguar manager works fine.but if this
dll(operf80.dll)remain in the PATH evirment(even it's at the end of the PATH
string),the trouble appear again.he had searched his hard disk, and there's
only one operf80.dll in his machine.
Any one can tell me the reason?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the exactly same problem. Any Idéas??

TIA,
Darko

Make sure your Jaguar environment variable is pointing to the correct
location - the jagmanager.bat file sets up the classpath based on the
JAGUAR environment variable and if it's pointing to an old 3.0 install for
instance you'll run into this.

Darko,

I would try reinstalling the product.
