Hi all,

I seem to be stuck here.

First problem:
Following the Jaguar tutorial, I've tried to compile the files that I've
just created... and here's the error message that results:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------
D:\Program Files\Sybase\Jaguar CTS 3.0\html\classes\Tutorial>javac
JavaArithmetic.java

JavaArithmetic.java:11: Interface org.omg.CORBA.Object of interface
Tutorial.Jav
aArithmetic not found.
public interface JavaArithmetic extends org.omg.CORBA.Object
^
1 error

D:\Program Files\Sybase\Jaguar CTS 3.0\html\classes\Tutorial>
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------
I've confirmed that the directory to the file is in my classpath, and still
I'm unable to compile. I know this is most definitely pilot error, and any
advice on how to solve this problem or even how to go about getting off the
ground with Jaguar in general would be much appreciated..

The real issue:
Here's a quick rundown of what I'm really trying to accomplish: I have no
real experience with Java or Jaguar, but I want to be able to utilize the
multipart/form encType in order to upload images from clients... Apparently
Jaguar is the best way in the long run to accomplish this... Can anyone
provide me with a way to accomplish this without incuring the overhead of
learning a whole new language/software?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Scott

Okay, I figured out the compile problem.. My fault of course. It was the
classpath after all. While the reference to the %jaguar%\html\classes; was
present, the syntax was incorrect... Sorry about that!

So, now here is my next problem... According to the tutorial instructions,
the following should be true:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------
At this point, Jaguar Manager has created server-side implementation files
in the following directory:

%JAGUAR%\html\classes\Sample\Intro\JavaArithmetic

The implementation template file is JavaArithemeticImpl.Java.new and the
skeleton is called _sk_Tutorial_JavaArithmetic.java.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------

No such file or directory was created... Any ideas?

Thanks,

Scott
