Hi all,

Can some one out there give me an example of how to connect to Oracle
database... what do I need to pass into the SetTrans()? and what parameters
should I need?

Any help would be appreciated!!!

Thanks,
Kevin

Kevin,

Why don't you set up a connection cache to the oracle db and then use
cachename=whatever

Hi Larry,

If I'm setting up a connection cache to the oracle db then I stuck with
Oracle only right? Can I set a ODBC datasource to connect to Oracle and
pass it into the SetTrans() to connect... like ASA?

I would like to allow user to select what database to connect at the login
page.

You can create multiple connection caches in Jaguar and then specify
whatever cachename in your SetTrans.
