Hi,

I am trying to use a HTMLDW to call a Jaguar Component method in a HTML page but
I am getting the following error once the page is loaded:
ERROR: Retrieve Failed = -1 *****
Cannot connect!
************************

My Jaguar log contains this error:
Mar 08 11:21:51 2000: CT-LIBRARY Message - 84083972/5/08001: ct_connect():
network packet layer: internal net library error: Net-Lib protocol driver call
to connect two endpoints failed
Mar 08 11:21:51 2000: CT-Library Operating-System error:
Failed to connect to the server - Error is 10061

I have gone through all the steps of creating a DSedit entry for my Jaguar
server, setting up my Jaguar server to have a TDS listener and adding a
connection in Powerdynamo for my Jaguar server. I have looked at the technical
document at suport.sybase.com on how to use MASP and followed all the
instructions but I still get the above error.

My Jaguar component is successfully retrieving data as I am able to view the
data when looking at the datawindow in Powerbuilder.

Any ideas?

Ricardo

You are aware that Jaguar has its own SQL.INI different from the old
SQL.INI? Can you ping from Jaguar?

call to two endpoints failed generally means the server (in this case the TDS
listener on Jaguar) isn't available. Check the SQL.INI entries - I suspect you
won't be able to ping your Jaguar server from DSEdit either.

Check to make sure that the call to set the datawindow object was
successful. My guess is that it failed.
