Slowly, it starts to sink in... (I think)...

But still there are questions.

If I know that I need PD (as it's a page server), is there ANY advantage to
using two HTML (er, Web) DataWindows in a frameset, (one as a 'Criteria'
selection, the other which will allow update (via Jaguar) vs. creating the
'Criteria' frame from Dynascript and only having the update frame be a
DataWindow)?

My first thought is that by simply generating my own <SELECT> </SELECT>
HTML, I don't incur the overhead of the DataWindow?

Knowing my first thoughts usually get me in trouble, I thought I'd ask...

TIA

Dan

Take a look at what you are doing and decide if you need the functionality
the web datawindow provides. Also, don't forget that there is a SetWeight
method that can be used to "turn off" some functionality that is not needed
thus making the size of the HTML smaller.

Dan,

The biggest advantage is that the HTML datawindow will provide all of the
logic needed for the updates and the presentation of the data. You can
certainly more then welcome to do it the other way, it will just require
more coding on your part.
