Hi Guys,

I created java program(EJB) and I try to deploy to JaguarCTS server and I
got the following error.

Java program to create EJB Serialization file ****FAILED****

This may be because the directory in the registry entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\sybase\EA Studio\XX\Shared
does not contain the "sun\javax" directory.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the EA Studio, still I get the same
error. I dont know where I am going wrong.

Any help is really appreciated.

Thanks,
-RajS

You must have more than two shared directories. You can modify the registry
to point Shared to where javax directory is.

I have had the same problem when I first install EAS3.5, because I installed
EAStudio twice and in different directory. I can't find the way make old
share dir go away, I just copy the sun\javax dir to my old "....\XX\Shared",
and that worked.
Next time you uninstall the EAStudio, delete all the ..\sybase and all the
sybase registry, that may take out the record of old "shared" directory.
