Dear Newsgroup.

I presume I can not use orb.String_to_Object in a clustered scenario

orb.String_to_Object("iiop://svr1:9000;iiop://svr2:9000", ...).

I guess not.

Then I am left with Resolve_Initial_References(). That did not work for me
either, although
I tried to follow the sample from the docs. What blows up on me is

NameComponent name[ ]
......
corbaobj = my_nc.resolve(name).

I receive IDL:omg.org/CosNaming/NamingContext/NotFound:1.0.

What would be the right sequence for filling up "name" for ejbTheBean in the
package ThePackage (based on com.abc.* java package).

What is the difference in calling a PB object pbObj, loaded into pbPackage.

I am totally confused.
Please help.

Thanks in advance,
Victor

Thanks Dave.

It is ignorant me who tried to tie up 3.5 and 3.1 server via semicolon.
Once I had two 3.5 server I was able to use String_To_Object() with
semicolon
notation.

Thanks for keeping me in the right direction.
