Hi,

If I create a Jaguar component isntance in PowerDynamo script and that
component does not have auto demarcation turned on, how do I deactive the
component. ie. how do I call RollBackWork() or CommitWork() from the
PowerDynamo script?

Thanks for any help.

Regards,
Brad Gawne

You need to have a method in the component which itself calls completeWork()
or rollbackWork(). Like you might have a save() method that does that. Now
the client will call the save() method to make the commit/rollback happen.
You should also put a timeout on the component so if the client goes away
you dont leak the instance.

What about the datawindow/HTML Generator? I suspect that it is eating up
resources since after awhile I get absolutely nothing back when calling it.
Should auto demarcation be on? Or does it take care of itself?

That object is stateful so you cannot turn autodemarcation on. If it is
leaking, set a timeout on it.
