Is it enough to insert additional JARs into serverstart.bat and restart the
service or is it in the server properties the addition should be made?

Jonas,

If you are talking about adding them to the classpath then yes that is
enough.

Or add them to com.sybase.jaguar.component.java.classes

I'd like to make a a number of complaints on server/package/component
properties in EAServer 3.0.1.

com.sybase.jaguar.package.files does not work (includes no files in
exported/synced package)
com.sybase.jaguar.package.java.classes does not work (includes no files in
exported/synced package)
com.sybase.jaguar.component.files works OK
com.sybase.jaguar.component.java.classes works so-so (JARs are synced, but
NOT put in CLASSPATH, classes are synced/exported, but NOT refreshed)

One MAJOR problem is .properties files (which I put in component.files) as
it is NOT found (unless I move the class dependencies from
component.java.classes to component.files as well).

I know that these things are supposed to work and you keep giving them as
answers to my questions, but I just can't get them to work OK. What I end up
with is all dependencies (including the generated client stubs) listed
INDIVIDUALLY (package grouping does not work if the client and server
classes are in the same package) in component.files and restarting the
service (NT service that is, NOT server) everytime a non-component (i.e.
XXImpl) class needs to be refreshed.

If you have not already done so, please open a case with Technical
Support, except with respect to the "com.sybase.jaguar.package.java.classes"
property, which does not exist to my knowledge.

Please feel free to request a priority for the case that is
appropriate for you to be able to meet your deadlines. These are
documented featuresa, and if they are not working as documented,
you can expect to receive a fix.
