Hello,
I'm trying to connect to a Jaguar server using a C++ ISAPI DLL. The
Jaguar server is located elsewhere, and I keep getting connect errors.
Here's the brunt of the code:

ORB_var orb = ORB_init (argc, argv, "");

Object_var object = orb->string_to_object ("iiop://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9000");

Manager_var manager = Manager::_narrow (object);

Session_var session = manager->createSession("jagadmin", "");

object = session->create ("Test/test");

test_var testObj = test::_narrow (object);

Am I missing anything?

I'm not a C++ guru, but I think you need to look at your call
string_to_object. You want an IOR here. Not the URL. It will look something
like the following.

IOR:010000001F00000049444C3A53657373696F6E4D616E616765722F4D616E616765723A31

0000F0FAFA0A0100000001

You can find the IOR under %jaguar%\html

hope that helps a little.

Our implementation or CORBA::ORB->string_to_object() knows how to handle
that URL.

Everything looks OK in your code, although Im a pretty bad C++ guy. Maybe
someone else who knows C++ can comment. What Exception is thrown to you?
