I thought I read somewhere that you could get the EAServer Advanced version
then add two-phase commit for an additional price. I think it was called
the XA option? I spoke with Sybase sales and they say you either have to go
with the Advanced version or the Enterprise and there is nothing in between.
Has anyone heard anything different than what sales is telling me.

Thanks in advance,
Ken

You need Enterprise to get XA. The point is you should be able to only pay
an upgrade to get the Enterprise if you already own Advanced.

The swap is not that easy. The upgrade path is not full value for the
Advanced edition purchase price.

Ken - let me know via email if you want more info on pricing.
