So far I've been able to use the Web (html) datawindow for my web site.
I've finally come to a point where I need to do more complex processing.
i.e. I need to manipulate several datastores on the server side, and create
and populate an external datawindow with the results. I then need to
display the populated external datawindow back at the client. I've looked
at the GenerateResultSet/CreateFrom Methods. Is this the best way to perform
this processing?

If so, here's an example from the help.....

java.sql.ResultSet jagresultset;
powersoft.datawindow.DataStore ds_local;

jagresultset = ...;

ds_local.createFrom(jagresultset);

Are these client side or server side scripts... or both?

TIA

If you take a look at the free framework that we offer, you will see a
pretty good example of doing just this without having to use those
tacky service classes.

I have the framework, it's installed and I've run the examples. I like the
architecture. Do you have any more detailed documentation, (similiar to the
PFC manuals), or a "tutorial guide"?

Thanks.

Steve

We really are working on this. I promise! We're about to put out a
new release along with more examples and documentation. Alex is here
with us in DC this week and that's one of the main things we've been
working on. You should get a notification about a new release next
week.

Thanks,

Carson
