My company wants to start developing browser based applications, both for
internal staff on PCs and Macs, and for customers via the web. We have
reviewed several products, and it seems very hard to come up with a clear
cut decision on what tool to use to devlop these apps. We have been using
Powerbuilder for several years, so do have experience there. Our main
database in Informix, and we have several MS Sql Servers as well.
We have heard a lot of good things about Versata (formerly Vision Jade), we
are also looking at MS Visual Interdev, we already own it, and have Site
Server running our present site. I have also played around with EAS.
Any one in here have any advice or recommendations? Are people getting
applications to work well with EAS?

Many thanks to all that reply!

We recently moved from a two-tier app to three tier using jaguar CTS and
PowerDynamo. We also are using Dynamic Data Solutions Enterprise
Application Framework. To date, we have had major success with moving our
code to the new environment.

DDS can be found at http://www.dyn-data.com
