Can't connect PB client to Jag outside firewall.
Connection.ConnectToServer() returns 57

We are using a Raptor firewall - 11.11.11.11 requests are redirected to jag
server 22.22.22.22. Raptor does not support IIOP

Connection Properties
===============
driver = 'jaguar'
location = 'iiop://11.11.11.11:9000'
application = 'anapp'
userID = 'someuser''
password = 'password'

Jaguar (22.22.22.22) Listeners
=====================
IIOP = 11.11.11.11:9000
HTTP = 11.11.11.11:9080

The firewall guys have opened up ports 9000 & 9080 on the firewall.

I've tried ever combination of iiop/http, real/redirected IP, and ports.
I've also tried setting the listeners to the Jag server's "real" IP address.
If I use HTTP the 57 is returned immediately, with iiop it takes about 30
seconds to fail.

TIA - Mitch

Try setting the connection object Options parameter ORBProxyHost to the
external IP, something like:

c.Options = "ORBProxyHost='11.11.11.11'"

Ok, I tried that. No effect. Now my configuration looks like this:

Connection Properties
===============
driver = 'jaguar'
location = 'iiop://11.11.11.11:9000'
application = 'anapp'
userID = 'someuser'
password = 'password'
options = "ORBProxyHost='11.11.11.11',ORBhttp='true'"

*** Added the http tunnelling parm because our firewall doesn't support iiop

Jaguar (22.22.22.22) Listeners
=====================
IIOP = 22.22.22.22:9000
HTTP = 22.22.22.22:9080

*** Changed from original "outside" IP - checked jag log, the listeners were
not active using that IP.

What happens if you try to connect using Windows NT telnet to
host 11.11.11.11 port 9000? Do you get a Connect Failed dialog?
