Has anyone found any books or web sites that have information on:

Naming Conventions, GUI standards - Documentation Standards,
Object naming, Library naming - user interface standards.

Does anyone have info on this? Please let me know.

Thanks

Randy

No, but here's what we do for EAServer.

(1) Interface and Component names follow Java interface/class naming
conventions.

(2) Method and parameter names follow Java naming conventions.

(3) Documentation of interfaces using javadoc-style comments in the IDL, from
which you can generate HTML documentation using Jaguar Manager. The next
Jaguar 3.5 EBF will include a bug fix so that IDL comments aren't lost
during automatic redeployment from PowerBuilder/PowerJ.

(4) Jaguar Package naming is up to you, but note that since version 3.5 we
allow '.' in Jaguar Package names, so you can use the Java package naming
conventions for Jaguar packages too.

Our PowerBuilder customers tend to stick with PowerBuilder naming conventions,
but I prefer to use Java naming conventions even when working with PB.

That doesn't cover all your questions, but I hope it is helpful.
