Using JDBC-OCI driver and trying to perform the powerbuilder command

SELECTBLOB blob_field
INTO :lbl_Data
etc

This returns SQL Error text of
Invalid column type : getBinaryStream

Does this mean that PB using JDBC cannot select blobs from an Oracle
database ?
