Hi!

I am having a problem where my dynamic pages are being retrieved from the
cache rather than being re-evaluated. The result is a datawindow that shows
old data.

As per Lance's suggestion in a previous post, I've put the META tags in my
header and have even tried the extra <HEAD> at the bottom of the page.

I am using EAS 3.01 with IE4.72. I cannot gaurentee that my clients will
have the latest version of IE5, so I need a programatical solution.

Anyone have any tips? Are my META tags set right? Here is the opening
block of my page:

<%@ LANGUAGE=JavaScript %>
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD W3 HTML//EN">
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<META NAME=SERVERLANGUAGE CONTENT=JavaScript HTTP-EQUIV=PowerSiteData>
<META content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" http-equiv="Content-Type">
<META name=GENERATOR content='"MSHTML 4.72.3110.7"'>
<META objectParams="" name=PSPageParams>
<TITLE>Cart Contents</TITLE>
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Expires" CONTENT="Tues, 20 1996 14:25:27 GMT">
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Pragma" CONTENT="no-cache">
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Cache-Control" CONTENT="no-cache">
</HEAD>

Thanks,

Daniel

Daniel,

This works for us. For some strange reason, the specific date seemed to
matter.

<meta HTTP-EQUIV="Expires" CONTENT="Fri, Jan 01 1970 08:20:00 GMT">
<meta HTTP-EQUIV="Pragma" CONTENT="no-cache">
<meta HTTP-EQUIV="Cache-Control" CONTENT="no-cache">

I have successfully used the following

<META HTTP-EQUIV="expires" CONTENT=0>

The CONTENT=0 appears to be the item you may need.

Daniel, try this one:

<META VALUE="no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate" name="cache-control">
